Speaker Of Taraba State House Of Assembly Is Dead

The speaker of the Taraba State House of Assembly, Haruna Tsokwa, has been confirmed dead.
A spokesperson of the acting Governor, Garba Umar, confirmed the speaker has just passed away after a brief illness.
Garba Umar has been standing in for the recuperating Danbaba Suntai and Tsokwa was a staunch supporter of the acting Governor.
An official announcement from the State Government was already in the works at the time of filing this report.
