Khedira resumes training with Real Madrid first team
The midfielder suffered an injury while on
international duty in November but returned to training today alongside
Sergio Ramos and Marcelo
Real Madrid midfielder Sami Khedira has returned to training with the first team following a knee injury.The Germany international has been out of action since suffering a torn anterior cruciate ligament during a friendly against Italy in November.
Khedira, who moved to the Bernabeu in 2010 from Stuttgart, handed Carlo Ancelotti a boost ahead of Real's run-in as he returned to group training on Monday.
"The big news of the day is the return of Khedira to the group following his injury," read a statement on Real's official website.

traveling to Abuja
Nigeria midfielder Ogenyi Onazi
has dedicated his goal in Sunday's 4-2 loss to Napoli to the victims of
the explosions in the country's capital Abuja on Monday.The blasts occurred at a bus station in Nyanya, on the outskirts of the federal capital, killing more than 70 people.
Onazi, a social media savvy player, dedicated his first ever Serie A goal for Lazio to the victims of the terror attack.
“I dedicate my goal to the victims of the explosion, that happened this morning,” Onazi wrote on his Twitter account.
“I hope by the grace of God the families have the strength needed to manage everything,” the Lazio midfielder concluded.
Many of the victims of the explosion were headed to work early in Abuja when the incident occured.

Jim Iyke lost his mom on the 1st of April, 2014
and took out time to write a befitting tribute to show how much she meant to him...
"She was a force of nature. My big sis,
my 1st wife, my confidante, my rock, my critique, my greatest fan and regal
leader.
"She was a radiant, gorgeous woman with a smile bigger
than the sun and always ready to embrace anyone for all the good and even wrong
reasons.
"My sun is gone. The dull numbing ache in my heart will
never be pacified by any woman alive. Not my lover, sisters nor even a daughter
I may one day bear.
"The relationship of a mother and an only son is
uniquely eternal and spiritual, transcending human comprehension. Mine with
Gladys is even far strangely beyond that.
"They say it's a blessing if a son buries his mother
and not the other way around. I'm not sure they're entirely right.
"They also said one never recovers from the loss of
their mother. I hope they are right! May I never recover from the memories of

Senate Passes N4.69trn 2014 Budget
The Senate today, Wednesday, 9th of April, 2014 passed
N4.69 trillion as budget for the 2014 fiscal year, nearly four months after it
was presented by Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, on behalf of the President. The executive
had proposed N4.642 trillion, but the amount was jerked up with an additional
N53 billion, by the upper chamber.

Chinelo Okorom Lynnette, 36, was arrested during inward screening of passengers on an Ethiopian Airline from Addis Ababa, Ethiopia to Nigeria.
NDLEA Head of Public Affairs, Mitchell Ofoyeju, said: ”The suspect tested positive for drug ingestion and vaginal insertion. She, however, expelled a total of 685 grammes of substance that tested positive for cocaine while under observation at the airport.”

FC Barcelona banned from signing players for the next two transfer windows
FIFA has announced that Barcelona will not be able to sign players during the next two transfer windows, after they failed to comply to rules governing transfer of youths.
The world football governing body carried out an investigation last year and found the Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) and the Catalan club guilty of violating several rules that govern international transfers and registering foreign players.

Missing Malaysia Airline's plane 'a mystery'
Malaysia's acting transport minister, Hishamuddin Hussein: Search and rescue 'the main focus'
Malaysia's civil aviation chief has said the fate of a missing Malaysia Airlines jet remains "a mystery".
Azharuddin Abdul Rahman said officials had not ruled out hijacking as a cause of the plane's disappearance.The possible sighting of a yellow life raft was investigated on Monday, but was found to be an unrelated object.
Malaysia Airlines flight MH370 vanished from radar almost three days ago en route to Beijing from Kuala Lumpur, with 239 people on board.
Relatives of the missing passengers have been told to prepare for the worst.
