London Court Sentence Adebolajo & Adebowale to Life In Prison

29yrs old Michael Adebolajo and 22yrs Michael Adebowale have been been sentenced to life in prison for the gruesome murder of a soldier, Lee Rigby, in May 2013. The London-born Nigerians had hacked the man to death in front of horrified onlookers near Woolwich Barracks in south-east London.

They shouted 'Allahu Akbar', sayig "You (Britain) and America will never be safe" as they were being bundled out of the courtroom by security guards. According to the Judge's ruling, Adebolajo was given a whole life-term, while Adebowale was jailed for life with a minimum of 45 years.

While Goodluck Jonathan was Acting as president of Nigeria, in October 2010 shortly before the Presidential elections, there was a large bomb blast during independence celebrations in Abuja. Immediately after the attack, before an investigation was ever conducted by Nigeria's security services, the President suddenly categorically exonerated MEND terrorists of involvement. This was a SERIOUS and dangerous submission, within hours after a bomb attack and before any evidence could have been fully investigated.

This suggested prior knowledge of the attack and prompted questions of why if it was known by the President, the people were not protected and given advanced warning. Jonathan blamed northern elements for this bombing, seeking to utilize it to his advantage for political gains.

Sad: Ondo State House of Assembly Speaker dies

Reports from sources in the  Ondo State house of Assembly says the Speaker of the house,  Samuel Adesina Ajayi has passed away.
It was gathered  that Ajayi reportedly died last night at an undisclosed hospital in Lagos.
The speaker’s absence from the state parliament became a source of worry for over three months.
Sahara Reporters say:

 The speaker has been battling with cancer for several months before his death.
 SaharaReporters could not immediately confirm Mr. Adesina’s age, as the Ondo State governor’s spokesperson Eni Akinsola said he could not confirm the death of the speaker.
The late Adesina represents Odigbo constituency ii in the state house. He is also a member of the Labour Party.

Gunmen Abduct President Jonathan’s 'Father' In Bayelsa

 

These are not the best of times for President Goodluck Jonathan as heavily-armed gunmen have abducted his adopted father, Chief Inengite Nitabai, in their home village of Otuoke, in the Ogbia Local Government Area of Bayelsa State.

There are two sides to the story that led to his kidnap but sources on ground said Chief Inengite was trying to re-possess a piece of land he had already sold to somebody several years ago, when the gunmen stormed the area and snatched him. The 10-man gang of kidnappers were said to have appeared from no where...
65yrs old Chief Inengite is still with thee kidnappers as at the time of reporting. A security source said that the vehicle was later recovered at the Onuegbum community waterfront where it had been abandoned.

Although the motive of the kidnappers has not been ascertained, sources say it be connected to the land. The incident has led to heavy security presence in the area, which is host to the Federal University, Otuoke. 

Confirming the incident, Bayelsa State Police Public Relations Officer, Mr. Alex Akhigbe, said one person had been arrested. "Investigation is in progress to unmask the kidnappers and rescue the victim," he said.

Hennessey's Venom GT becomes the world's fastest car after reaching a top speed of 270mph

A supercar has become the world's fastest production model after reaching a top speed of 270mph. 

American firm Hennessey has claimed for some time that its Venom GT is the fastest thing on four wheels.

But until now the firm hadn't been able to attempt beating the Bugatti Veyron Super Sport's record-breaking 269mph because it was on VW's private test track.

A London penthouse is believed to be the most expensive rental property in the country after it was put on the market for £2.3m a year.

The five-bedroom, five-bathroom apartment is located in the exclusive One Hyde Park - the most expensive block of flats in the world. It boasts five reception rooms, parking for two cars and panoramic views across the capital.

A private landlord has put the flat on the rental market for £45,000-a-week or £195,000-a-month. That means a Briton on the average annual wage of £26,500 could stay for just three days in the stunning apartment before blowing their entire annual salary before tax.

Over a 12-month period, any tenant will find themselves spending £2.34 million on rent - enough to buy a nine ‘average’ UK homes priced at £250,000.

This is significantly greater than the £780,000 annual rent asked for by Phones4You billionaire John Caudwell for his Mayfair mansion which appeared in the media last week.

One Hyde Park was built by billionaires Nick and Christian Candy. A number of the world’s wealthiest people have owned flats at the building in the past - including Sheikh Hamad bin Jassim bin Jaber Al Thani, former Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Qatar.

Leopard on the loose, sparks terror as it runs wild in a hospital, cinema and apartment block

• A leopard sparked panic in a north Indian city when it strayed inside a hospital, a cinema and an apartment block while evading captors and injured at least two people.

Authorities closed schools and colleges in Meerut, 60 kilometres (37 miles) northeast of the Indian capital, after the leopard was discovered prowling the city's streets on Sunday, a senior city official said.

‘Despite our best efforts, we have been unable to track the leopard down. We have launched a massive hunt for the beast,’ said additional district magistrate S.K. Dubey.

Niyola Survives Ghastly Accident On 3rd Mainland Bridge, Lagos

Nigerian singer Eniola Akinbo, popularly known as Niyola, has been involved in a car accident. Niyola, sources say, was driving from Lekki, Lagos, where she had just finished a meeting, in a Honda CRV on Saturday, february 22, 2014, at about 7PM.
Niyola had just exited the third mainland bridge on her way to the mainland area of Lagos when the accident occurred at the Oworonshoki axis. NET was reliably informed that a vehicle which was trying to overtake Niyola’s car hit her CRV from behind, which sent the latter’s car tumbling. The car is said to have tumbled three times before hitting a tree by the roadside. The EME first lady was immediately taken to the hospital and treated for minor injuries. The Honda CRV has also been towed away from the accident spot. A rep of the singer’s has confirmed the accident and also confirmed that the singer wasn’t driving alone but with a friend. The other passenger is said to also be doing fine.
‘Yes, it’s true. But she’s okay. It’s
unbelievable that they survived ,’ the rep said.

Boko Haram Leader Abubakar Shekau Is Dead! - Reports

"Shekau was mortally wounded in the encounter — on 30 June, when soldiers raided a Boko Haram base at Sambisa Forest — and was sneaked into Amitchide - a border community in Cameroon for treatment... Despite being wanted in two countries, Guzman had evaded capture for more than 12 years, but in the end his complacency led to his downfall, a former DEA official said.

Nicki Minaj is being sued for $30million by her former wig maker for 'stealing' his wig designs which he claims made her famous.

Terrence Davidson, the former claims that she stole wig designs he personalized for her, and sold and licensed them without sharing the profits with him. He also claimed after the planned on going into business together,selling wigs and making a reality show, she and her management backed out in 2012 which made him leave her in January 2013 

Christopher Chestnut, an attorney for Davidson, says,
