After ruling the world in 1985, 1993 and 2007, Nigeria's Golden eaglets have once again emerge champions at the just concluded FIFA U-17 world cup in United Arab Emirates after thrashing Mexico 3-0- whom were humiliate 6-1 in the group's opening match.
The Eaglets netted a record 26 goals with an average of 3.85 goals scored per match.
They were also awarded the Fair play award; No. 10 Kelechi Ihenacho won the Golden Ball and silver Boot awards. Also No. 1 Dele Alampasu was the Goalie of the tournament.
Everyone out there in the UAE or anywhere else would most definitely admit the Eaglets are worth CHAMPIONS.
