Kefee Shuts Down Branama Kitchen, Leaves Nigeria

The economic crisis hitting this part of the world is not a friend of the poor and less known alone. After all, the rich also cry, as they say. “Kokoroko” singer, Kefee, is badly hit. And those who know say it is bad market that visited her Maryland, Lagos based restaurant and hangout, Branama Kitchen, which was opened to business barely one year ago. The food and drink bar which was meant to cater to the culinary needs of people is now permanently under lock. A weekly magazine reported that when its
correspondent visited “Branama Kitchen,” it was observed that weeds have taken over the place and the silence there now is that fit for the graveyard. Besides, the songstress, whose marriage to her former producer and manager, Alec Godwin, crashed before she married Teddy Efosa, was said to have also traveled out of the country with her husband.

Trouble in Rivers as Policemen Shoot Assembly Members away from the house complex

Crisis again broke out in the Rivers State House of Assembly in Port Harcourt on Thursday as the police on the orders from above disrupted the sitting of the state House by looking down the Assembly complex when the lawmakers tried to resume their lawful duties.

The 25 lawmakers, in the absence of the speaker, then decided to sit with the deputy speaker presiding but men of the Nigerian Police fired live bullets at the lawmakers live in peoples presence...

The actions of the police, according sources is because majority of the men are loyal to Governor Rotimi Amaechi and the Presidency don't want Amaechi's loyalists to head the house.

As at the time of reporting, there is chaos in the area and I hear some people have been injured by the police

Jonathan meets Obasanjo In Secret Meeting

The heat is on and the only way out is to beg ex-President Olusegun Obasanjo not to make more revelations on what is going on in the corridors of power so as to continue to keep Nigerians in the dark on issues. 

Consequently, President Goodluck Jonathan on Thursday met, behind closed doors, Chief Obasanjo in the Intercontinental Hotel in far away Nairobi, Kenya. The meeting held less than 24 hours after an 18-page letter Obasanjo sent to Jonathan went public and is still generating a lot of serious reactions.

Obasanjo had in the letter accused Jonathan of condoning corruption and engaging in acts that were capable of destroying the country.

Two of them were in Kenya for the country’s 50th independence anniversary. Before the event, Obasanjo had made a surprise appearance at Jonathan’s hotel on a day the media were awash with his strong-worded letter titled “Before it is too late.”

Some of those who had insulted Obasanjo, including Reuben Abati, were shocked to see the same Obasanjo and Jonathan having breakfast, chatting and smiling.

So, earlier on today, artiste and producer  Nomoreloss took to Twitter to address this BON/IBAN vs COSON drama, cos according to him,  he prays parties involved resolve these issues quick cos he was tired of artistes dying without financial aid when they are supposed to have ROYALTIES!
Along the line, Eedris got into his tweets, Nomoreloss said something like Eedris was't worth much respect and boom, their twitfight started.
A furious Eedris actually invited Nomoreloss for a live beatdown at the Shrine Ikeja! trust twitter guys, Some mentioned they were off to go watch them.
